Moving back to Uk need help with locating schools

I was born in the Uk, but have lived in the United States for almost 30 years. We are moving back to the Uk, in September . I am looking for good schools. My son is 16 (also born in Uk) but raised in the states. I know the school system is different, I just need to know how to apply to schools for his age group. I'm really interested in Milton Keynes
