Preggers and moving to UK

Hi Everyone,
Any feedback would really be appreciated. My husband will be transferred to London through his American company and I will be following him. His company said we can either move in January (I will be 6 months pregnant) or in June (baby will be 2-3 months old).
I am tempted for us to move in January because baby will get dual citizenship and we would not have to lug over a bunch of baby stuff. However my mom and mother-in-law will be SO angry with us :o)
Any suggestions about our options 1.moving when pregnant and having the baby in a UK hospital or 2. have the baby in the US and move with a newborn. Thanks so much!
