Can I go to the US on holiday?

Hi, all

I’ve become a UK resident this year and am looking to visit my family for a week in New Jersey. Can I travel there and get back into the UK with an American passport and indefinite leave to remain? I know the UK government is advising against travel to the states and travellers have to quarantine, but there have also been restrictions on people with American passports travelling. Will I get stuck out of the country?
