We are planning to come to Uruguay in either January or February. I've done some research and am still unclear about locating items and bringing in some items through Customs. I seem to find some conflicting information.
1. Will it be a problem bringing in food type items, such as canned items that cannot be purchaesed there? I have read that (s) items can be brought in and(2) friends can mail us certain things (3_ people shop regularly in Buenos Aires. However, my question has to do with whether or not we will then be taxed by Customs. Can someone clarify?
2. I love to bake bread and use many different types of flour. Will I be able to find a good variety or flours and grains?
3. Re finding a good pphysician, as well as specialists--where would be a good place to start?
We plan to be there for two weeks when we arrive.
