Hello, me and beautiful wife are planning on making our way there sometime within the next 6-18 months. I'm a professional solo acoustic entertainer and I'm wondering if there are slightly Americanized or Europeanized clubs or restaurants to perform. Listening to streaming radio, I can see that Uruguayans and expats are appreciative of lots of the American music I currently play. We'd be looking to live more in the rural area and make a short commute into the cities to play my music. Any help you can give would be appreciated! Also looking for cheap rent if you could suggest anything. We live very simply lives, grow our own food, self-sufficient, handy, willing to work and help out neighbors and such for barter. Any information you could provide would be great!
