Hi, my name is Keith. My wife and I have been looking into taking a trip to Uruguay as a prospect for a potential move. We have two small children and will leave them behind and are thinking of staying in a hostel to save on money and to see the real side of Uruguay, not just the tourism spots. I have a skilled trade, I am a service technician who specializes in maintaining and servicing gas station equipment, dispensers, tanks, turbines, piping, point of sale networking, environmental testing, etc...I have found through my research a couple of companies that specialize in the same trade that I am engaged in up here stateside. I intend to pick up Rosetta stone's Latin America edition and learn Spanish before the trip. I'm 31 years old. Is it realistic to think that my family and I can relocate to Uruguay and have a decent quality of life (we're not superficial and already go without amenities like cable or eating fastfood or restraunts) We eat a strictly organic diet and are looking for a place where we can live a bit cleaner lives. I'll take any advice or tips any of you can give. Thank you for your time.
