I will be arriving in Montevideo on the 19th of April for a 3 week stay. My intent is to explore the possibility of spending up to 6months (Oct-April) each year. Unlike many others from the States or Canada, I am not a "Snow Bird" but rather I'm looking to get out of the hot Arizona desert. I have been trying to obtain information on the small city of Sarandi del Yi with very little success even the two hotels there do not have a website. Also interested in info on Salta. Though I'll be headquartering in an apartment in Montevideo, I have no interest in Punta.
Would also like to find expat meetings held during the week (if any available). BTW, I'm no "Spring Chicken" but in excellent physical condition.
