Uruguay- creditcards with chip will not work

Caution - if you plan to go to Uruguay now in the week of Eastern bring money with you. The automatic banking machines don`t work with the modern creditcards of Visa and Mastercard with the chip system,. Because Uruguay not changed to Windows 8. There are only 4 bank automats in the whole country working with chips - they are in Montevideo Shopping, Atlantida, Piriapolis and Villa Biaritz. And all banks close today until Monday, so you don`t get money there.More information I didn`t got from the Bank-service.
