Let me try to phase this question. It covers the boundaries between conventional and alternative medicine. Assume I am a Uruguay resident, with the right visas for Argentina. So here goes:
Scenario 1
Uruguay has some homeopathic pharmacies. Supposedly, I can get anything there. But if I can't and I go to a homeopathic pharmacy in Buenos Aires and bring a homeopathic remedy back to Uruguay, will there be an issue?
Scenario 2
Uruguay has no TCM (i.e. traditional Chinese medicine doctors), as far as I can tell.. But I notice a few in Buenos Aires . So I go there and they give me a herbal medicine to take. Will I be in trouble coming back to Uruguay?
Scenario 3
Most stuff can be done at the British Hospital. Suppose something special can't be done there. I go to the Italian Hospital in Buenos Aires . The doctor gives me a prescription, that is filled at a Buenos Aires pharmacy. Any problems bringing it back into Uruguay?
