Not much longer until I get on that plane and move to Montevideo, Uruguay :) I've already visited Uruguay once to do a little research and get my residency paperwork started.

I will be moving to Montevideo by myself and was hoping to make a few friends before going. I work from home so it can be tricky meeting new people at times and I can only imagine being in a completely different country will make it a little difficult. I would love to hear about your experience so far in Uruguay.
