Planning an Estancia hunting trip in March

We're planning to emigrate to Uruguay reasonably close to the Punte Del Este district in about 3 years time. We're coming over from Sweden for our first property search trip in the week of March 9th and wondered if there were any expat meetings or get togethers planned for that week that we could gatecrash. We'd really like the opportunity to meet up with some expats who have settled in that area so we can begin to get a good understanding of what settling down their is really like.
Or maybe just meeting for beer one evening for anyone who would like to. We're staying in Punte Del Este.
