Or should I have said "La Cocina"? I haven't been in a house in Uruguay, only looked at what seems like a bazillion real estate ads. From apartments in Montevideo, to vacation homes up the coast, all styles and ages, up to lets say a price of 250K US$. It seems like the following two generalizations can be made in comparison to houses in the States:
1. Appliances are a good bit smaller, especially the range top (4 burner stove), maybe less so the fridge, and
2. Counter space is at a premium.
Is this basically the case, or am I not paying close enough attention? Thanks
