I am looking to move to Uruguay. I think this site / service is wonderful and it is all of the many minds that offer advice, ask questions, share ideas that make it so. For some finally settling down in their new expat abode might be that "ah" moment, but for me I think one of those top 5 "ah" moments is going to be sharing first-hand experience in forum, or blog to a potential expat seeker (preferably while I sit munching on local cuisine, at a cool cafe, while I type away on my notebook).
With that said, I am open to share and get started.
A little about me: I'm a professionally schooled Naturopathic doctor (N.D.) and an artist. I'm not big on urban living, but I don't dodge any busy city as long as it's vibrant with lots to offer. My thing is more a laid back country setting with great views of the hills, and not to far from a big body of water (beach, lake, river, creek).
Feel free to chime in with tips, ideas, links, etc. If you have a property that fits my style, please share.
