1 month in Uruguay with young kids

Hi everyone!

My wife and our kids (3 and 9mths when we arrive) are taking an extended holiday to visit Uruguay in Jan 2017.

Please can you recommend areas we should stay/websites to book accomodation? Ideally we would like to be near the beach somewhere we might meet other kids for our eldest to play with.

Happy to camp, rent a house/apartment, move around a bit...We're pretty flexible.
