Intro & 1st Question

After doing some forum research, this is my first post on ExpatExchange. First, an introduction...

My family and I are currently based in Johannesburg, South Africa and in the process of preparing for our move to Uruguay.

I run my own media company over here in SA, doing web and app development, graphic design, 3D animation, film production, and more.

We have known for some time that Uruguay will be our next home. Now we are getting ready to make the move.

My first question regards Uruguay residency application for our family. I understand that I will have to show proof of income. Some of our children are older, 18 and 20. Would they need to show proof of income separate from me if they are in the same house?
