Good day.
I have been living in Panama for the last 6 years. After almost 50 years of Canadian winters the scorching heat was a pleasant change but now is becoming oppressive. Have been looking for more moderate climates and especially Uruguay. One big issue for me is I have Crohns disease which pops up every few years and puts me into the hospital for months at a time.
Therefore I am concerned about medical insurance and exclusions for pre-existing conditions as other than the Crohns I never need to see the doctor for any other health issues. It has never been an issue in Panama as the public system here doesn't care about age or pre-existing.
What would be the best option if any for health care in Uruguay for this situation?
