a. import your personal vehicle when moving to Uruguay b. yes, Amazon now delivers to Uruguay

bought a drone thru Amazon some days ago. Yes, they deliver now to Uruguay. Also do the custom procedure, pay the custom duties, which you have paid to them, ofcourse. But all is not always as easy as it first seems. In my case they left it to me to apply for homologation and entry permit for radio-electric devices for this particular model of drone. Applied online yesterday. See how it goes. The state entity who does it is URSEC. Can be found on the VUCE website vuce.gub.uy. All spanish.
On vuce.gub.uy I also found description of process of importing you personal vehicle when moving here. Didn't read it It's lengthy. But at least there is a publically available description. Possibly the current Blanco government is more eager then the previous Center-Left governments to lure wealthy people here. And those vehicle entry permits are finally being granted in reality. Don't know.
One more thing, you might or might not know. You can receive free of Uruguay custom duty 3 mail/curier deliveries per year, value of each not exceeding US$200. One Forwarder who is quite convenient and let you buy goods in, say, Amazon up to that amount and then ship it, is Tiendamia https://tiendamia.com/uy
