Costs we don’t think about

I read here from many who complain about the cost of living. Generally I advise to look at all costs, not just milk, meat etc

An example is a new medicine my US doctor put me on. Only $550 dollars a month with no prescription insurance in the US Here in UY about $55 dollars. So yes my grocery budget is higher than I would like but just one drug pays for that difference.
