Where to live in HCM

Hi there,

My husband and I are moving to Ho Chi Minh city next year. We've travelled there before, but unfortunately have no clue to where is a good area to live.

Can someone help please?

We would like to be in a reasonable proximity to the city, happy to live in an apt. as we may not be able to afford a house.

How expensive is rental and what do you get for your money?

I would appreciate any help or advice!
