volunteer work in Vietnam

I am an Autism specialist looking for volunteer work with kids with special needs in Vietnam July/August 2010. I am wondering how bad the weather is during this time in Hanoi and around Vietnam in general. I know it can be quite rainy but how bad is it? Also, I will likely be working with an agency called HOPE or HOME through IVHQ, is anyone familiar with this organization or know any agencies in Vietnam that serve students with Autism?
