will it be easy to find work in HCMC without a BA only TEFL?

Hello, I am an American traveling in Australia at the moment with my girlfriend. We are about to finish a 1 year work and holiday visa. In August we were planning on traveling north, to look for work teaching English. Neither of us have bachelor degrees, but we both have several years of college. We will both complete a tefl course before traveling. Will it be possible for us to work in Vietnam, it should we look into a different country? And which tefl certificate is best to get, or are they all about equal? Also we should be able to save up about $3,000 aud before the trip, is that enough of a cushion to live before finding work?
