Where to Start? American to Vietnam

I am currently living in the USA but would like to experience living and working in Hanoi Vietnam. I went there for vacation and fell in love with the place. I am a 45 year old male and have been in the IT industry for the last 16 years - Bachelors degree..
I don't have a teaching certificate to teach English but I feel that I could do a good job if given the chance.
I also don't speak any Vietnamese - another minus.
I really wish that I could connect with a fellow Expat living in Vietnam that could possibly refer me to a position.
I don't know what else to say other than - if you know of any leads or if I can offer any more information about myself please contact me.
