Where to shop

Coming back to Vietnam, HCMC. I have my son and daughter with the wife and we would like to buy lots of cloths and shoes, hand bags. I know about the big market in HCMC but does anyone have a place in mind we can tell a cab driver to take us to for inexpensive Nikes, and lots of cloths at very good prices. We want to get lots of the Vietnamese style outer garments for woman and girls and some shirts for men and boys plus any items strictly Vietnamese. Please give me some store names and maybe district locations. We only have from this coming Saturday thru the 11th and will only be in HCMC on a couple of occasions to shop and eat. Can you help us on a nice place to eat with Vietnamese and French style food that is not over the top expensive? Saigon is so big and we have such a limited time to visit
