Montessori Schools for Impoverished Children

I am working with a Montessori school for disadvantaged children in Nicaragua. The teachers have undergone training in the Montessori Method for over three years now, breaking the traditional rote learning that they are accustomed to administering (www.therighttolearn.org). Is anyone else working with Montessori schools abroad and might have tips for helping teachers implement new methods?
