new visa waivaer for USA tourist??

I am just asking.....I started planning my central america trip in january and wont arrive in panama until june and i include trip to costa rica...i wrote off nicaragua because of the entry requirements i saw in january, said visa required...now today i check the same visa requirement info and it says no visa needed to enter for 90 days,as the same for costa rica get signed in and pay or whatever as you come with valid passport for US citizen...I decided to include nicaragua in my trip if this is the case..my friend in USA has been there and is digging up his contact info of friends there (local people) to get me oriented...any confirm on the basic tourist entry info is great...Thanks
