It's me again. Marilyn has been sick, first with an ear infection, and then, with gastroenteritis and some kind of bacteria in her gut. THUS, with the help of Juan Carlos, our taxi driver, we found two really amazing, nice docs. They are not connected with Vivian Paella Hospital.
(1) Dr Eloy Isaba (Ear, Nose, Throat) This doctor is famous in Managua and has medical degrees from all over South and Central America.

Marilyn had an ear infection first in the left ear and then the right. This doc was very thorough. He also had a good sense of humor! The ears are finally better.

He was trained in US and Mexico. He was recommended by Dr Isaba. Even though his card says Ginecologia, he also deals with gastro issues. Marilyn says he is excruciatingly thorough and explains everything to assure understanding. Marilyn couldn't take some of the medicines he originally prescribed as they made her sick. (She is very intolerant of many medicines and foods.) Sooo, this doc is coming to our house for 3 consecutive days to IV administer the necessary antibiotic that will kill the bacteria. PS. He's also mindful of more wholistic approaches as well.
