I have a question I was hoping you could help me with from your experience. I am not a Nicaraguan resident.
If I go this route - Buy a car from an individual - a car/motorcycle - that has license plates in Nicaragua. Then get it insured and have the title (which I assume will still be in the name of the previous owner), drivers license, insurance ( the insurance will be in my name) and an inspection pape -> will I be able to cross the Nicaragua, Costa Rica border? I can get a lawyer to make a power of attorney document saying I have full power over the bike also if that helps.
Also, any experience with selling a motorcycle registered in Nicaragua in say Panama or Colombia? (I would not want to go through the process & cost of reregistering it in those countries). Maybe sell it for parts / less to a buyer?
