I am a retired US Veteran who has earned my Post 9/11 GI Bill and who now has time to finish my University degree.
The Dept. of Veteran Affairs has Kaiser University (San Marcos) listed as GI Bill approved.
I can arrive with either a student Visa or pension Visa.
Questions:
1. Which Visa would be the better one for securing a second passport - if any? Or, might there be another Visa situation I don't know about that could start the clock toward obtaining a second passport for Nicaragua?
2. I will be living most of the year off of about a 2,000 USD income. Is that a reasonable amount for a single woman in her 50's? I have Tricare health insurance & I know that is pretty much good world-wide.
3. Is there anyone on this forum who is living in or near San Marcos area who is willing to provide solid intel about the area? Cost of Living/Rent/Cable available for school - that kind of stuff.
Thank-you in advance for all your help and pointers!
