Hi - I am moving to Nica in August 2014. My goal is to study Spanish and experience the Nica culture for a couple of years. I plan to temporarily re-locate to San Juan Del Sur and/or Managua. However, I hope to find employment that will allow me to make enough to cover my monthly expenses (so I can avoid dipping into my savings).
My questions:
How difficult is it to find employment that will cover monthly living expenses? I am not picky when it comes to jobs since my goal is to learn Spanish and experience the Nica culture (which I will be able to accomplish just by being there).
How important is it to have a work visa? Is this enforced?
The U.S. State Department's website says that you have to have proof when you enter Nica that you plan to depart Nica (like a bus/plane ticket out of the country). Is this enforced?
