Hi, I'm Suzanne and last posted in 2/14 seeking others in my age range (50-70's) who are planning or already have moved to Nica, Managua or Granada in particular. Then I lost the website addy and just found it by accident yesterday.
I had a few replies so I answered them quickly but no one wrote back so now I'm thinking that the private messages didn't go through. Will you please send a message to my email address instead? It is [email protected] and I will reply to everyone who is sincere and not a loon or fake. Especially I want to connect with Fred and Lillie, TerriMarie and gosh, I can't recall the other names of you who wrote. I'm sorry....Oldtimers Disease.
A change in my health has me probably moving sooner rather than in 4 years, and I would love to meet others, especially women, who are planning to make the trip to live in a country where we can afford to live, and live nicely. Granada is my first choice but plan to stay near my son and his family in Managua for 6mo to a year till I get settled, comfortable in the new pace and the huge but looked forward to differences between LA and Texas and hope to pick up some Spanish. Please write, now that moving is a reality, and a short time away, I suddenly have cold feet and am more than a bit frightened of such a change in my life. But my son loves it there and says he will never live anywhere else or go back to the states to live and, after 6 years, I guess he knows what he is talking about. Thanks,
Suzanne
