Hi! I arrived in San Juan del Sur last month. Brought my two cats and my Mom. We plan on staying indefinitely. It's been an interesting month! We're in our second house, this one is much better than the first, phew, happy to get out of that first one. We'll keep looking, though. This place is close to the beach, about a 60 second walk but I'd like to find someplace with a bit of space outdoors for sitting and the cats to roam, somewhat more safely than now. I've checked into getting a car but that seems to be out of the question unless you're a resident. How about an ATV? Just for getting around town? Maybe out to the other beaches? Any info out there? Do I have to register an ATV, get insurance? Or can I just buy it and drive it? We've been doing a lot of walking lately!
