VET in San Juan Del Sur??

Hola, My little 10 lb dog has been through the ringer with ticks. I know this is normal, but one of the bites looks a little funny and my wife and I would like to get it checked out. I know that there are a few vets in Rivas, and even the School in Rivas has a clinic. Does anyone have any experience with these places? Are they trustworthy? What about World Vets in Granada? Any tips and tricks would help. Thanks,
