Hi everyone,
I'm writing this post to reach out to any expats out there who may be looking for some nice furniture for their homes during their stay in Nicaragua. Our family's stay in this wonderful country has been cut abruptly short, we expected to be here for a couple more years at least, and just in December of last year invested in some fine furniture in the style of the Managua-based store Simplemente Madera.
Sadly we have to head back home much sooner than we expected, and we're trying to figure out what to do with the sofa, 2 armchairs, coffee table, King and Queen sized beds, 4 night stands, and a gorgeous wood and leather rocking chair. It's a fine selection of clean-cut and elegant, high-quality wooden furniture, barely used (2 months) and in perfect condition.
From our experience I found such quality furnishings difficult to find in Managua, as I got the feeling people here don't invest much in their home's aesthetic. Ordering the furniture and having it delivered as established when we bought it was another logistical nightmare (as these things tend to be here when dealing with local businesses). After the entire ordeal, we would love for at least another family to be able to enjoy the furniture, as they really are beautiful and well-made, and certainly worth the price.
If anybody is interested, we have put together a catalog with photos of each item, dimensions, and price deals, and we are of course willing to negotiate. We're also selling the furniture with the original purchase receipt. Please send me a private message if you or someone you know would be interested in having a look. Thank you all in advance!
