Hi prpcof, thanks for the invite. Would like to meet you and talk. I have my residency and it is helpful in many ways. You will need to get all sorts of documents that must be up to date so get everything together. There is an office im MetroCentro, which is not so crowded, where I believe you can get all the information and documents you will need, or you might check INTUR near you. Once you file it can take up to 5-6 months before you get your card. <> Once you have your card you can bring in the truck duty free, otherwise you will have to pay to get it in the country. Lots of headaches and delays that way I understand.
