Visiting Nicaragua

Ok so I am going to be visiting for a few months
Wondering how the visa works from what have read they give u 90 day visa then u have to leave for 3 days and come back. Can u do this as many times as u want ?? What are the cost involved to do this also do u have to go back to us or can you go too another county to visit and come back ?
