Hi All! I"m headed to Nica around May I guess, and will be looking for roommates, a house share with other expats? hopefully. Is there such a service or forum for such housing in any particular city? I'm a single woman with a small dog and I like SJDS but think I should land in Granada first and navigate initial culture shock with some semblance of familiarity and get my feet grounded. In every case I am needing to live on $800 a month!! (more like $600 since I can't just walk away from some outstanding debts...).

If anyone knows how to go about connecting with others looking to share one of these beautiful and cheap houses or luxuriously cheap apartments for 6 months or so, I'd love to hear about it. Thanks!
