forest restoration

Hello, new to site. my question is about forest restoration. ive seen a few craigslist ads about living in a forest restoration. they state you can live there short/long term for volunteer work. they also offer housing for around 400$. Are these legit? The one I looked at stated to come and visit first. Its in Jinotepe.
