Visitor Visa renewal

Hi, I am staying here in Nicaragua using the 90 day visitors visa. According to the government website you need to leave the country every 90 days and stay out for at least 3 days. What does it cost in penalties if I don't leave? And when would I pay? For example, would I pay the penalty at the airport when I fly out? i'm just trying to find the most cost-effective way of doing this. Leaving the country for 3 days can get expensive.
