There are so many things you will learn throughout your life. There are too many different people you will meet throughout your life. A tiny handful of them will inspire you and make you feel great. Meanwhile the majority will do nothing, but criticize your ideas and thoughts, always trying to belittle your ambitions and give you a poor advice. However, in most cases, they will advise you regarding the matters that are outside the area of their competence. They will misguide you and make you doubt yourself. Therefore, make sure you never take advice from someone you would not want to switch places with. ++Beware of “gurus”, “professionals”, “experienced specialists”, and “I-know-it-all guys” who think they are experts and are always eager to share their “firm” opinion on almost everything, even if it is far beyond their expertise. The syndrome that embraces these behavior is called ultracrepidarianism. ++Ultracrepidarianism is the habit of giving opinions and advice on matters outside of one’s knowledge or expertise. Consequently, an ultracrepidarian is a person who criticizes, judges or gives advice on matters that are outside the area of his or her competence. It turns out that we live in a world full of ultracrepidarians. ++No doubt, you know those people who tend to talk too much and teach others in fields they barely know anything about. ++Ultracrepidarians are the people who are in charge of lowered motivation and great bunch of destroyed dreams and ambitions. ++Be respective to justified criticism and reasonable words if they come from people that have a sort of experience and expertise. Meanwhile stop being bothered by opinions and advice from individuals who have no real knowledge in the field they speculate in, especially if their words are destructive and full of pessimism regarding your ideas and thoughts. ++Know who your adviser is and appreciate his opinion respectively. Filter out those who do not know a much of what they talk about and listen to those who can provide a genuinely valuable advice. In other words "take what's good and shuck the rest." ++Keep away from small people who always try to belittle you.
