Travel from Panama to Sana Juan del Sur

I am living in Boquete, Panama and want to travel to San Juan del Sur with my two cats. Flying to Panama City and over nighting twice before I reach there will be too stressful with the cats. I'll have to put them in cargo because I can only have one in-flight.

I want to find someone to drive me from Paso Canoas, Costa Rica to the Nicaragua border. Does anyone have any connections in Costa Rica that I could pay to drive us.
