Flying into Managua with an infant

I am assisting a Nica friend who has to fly into Managua in May, on Avianca of course. She (the mother) will be flying with an infant under the age of 2 years. We understand the mother must have a Covid RT-PCR test within 72 hours of arrival. I do not believe that an infant under the age of two is required to have the Covid test, however the Avianca website only refers to passengers needing the Covid test. I tried using the Avianca WhatsApp Chat but the only response was that the Avianca agent referred me to their website. So, my question is: has anyone flied into Managua on Avianca during the Covid situation with an infant under the age of 2 and did that infant need to have the Covid RT-PCR test?
Thanks in advance for any definitive answer on this.
