Facilitators

I know in some countries there are people who earn a living by facilitating new arrivals to their country. For a fee, they will go with you to get the electric started, the cable, etc. I have decided to live in Managua, across from a hospital and nearby the US Embassy. I have chosen somewhere that really works for me. You might not like it, but it greatly appeals to me. It is not perfect, but what i first perceived as negatives, (small bedrooms) I now perceive as positives. I can manage it by myself, if I really had to. It fits my needs. It’s in a safe neighborhood, near stores that I’m comfortable shopping in. There’s room for a guest, if I should ever need it. There’s a outdoor area for my dogs. have decided against live in help. I am going to hope I’ll be in touch with someone who will recommend someone. I’m pretty close to Iglesia Timoteo. Perhaps they may know of someone looking for a few hours (2-3) every other day, like MWF. Because standing
can be an issue for me, I set up my dining table against a wall and it became like a kitchen island. I have a rectangular cover
Electrical pan that I use for many thing. I can sit down and cook. It’s much more easier for me. I will be near a lot of stores, including Maxi Pali, La Colonia and Walmart all of which are a brief taxi ride away.
If I had someone in to clean and run errands, like pay the electric bill, that would be awesome. My first reaction was to go all in, but the biggest and the best, but I have reconsidered. I don’t need a giant refrigerator or a freezer in the garage. A medium fridge will be fine. That will be my first big purchase. Any recommendations for a store that will deliver? I know Sinsa, but what else is out there? I have decided to delay getting a washer. I want to try the lavenderia. It will make me physically stronger and pass the time. Plus, save me money. One other purchase that is a must is a recliner. Preferably a lift chair. It would also be nice to find a chaise lounge for the patio. The circulation in my legs is very poor. Between that and the neuropathy, I need to elevate my legs whenever possible or they swell and become even more painful than usual.
Today, my new drapes are getting hung and tomorrow the real estate agent is coming to photograph my house. Tomorrow I also have to send away for my marriage license. The clock is ticking. Managua, here I come.
