Flying dogs from Miami to Managua ????

We have 4 senior dogs and are retiring to Nicaragua. The dogs are from 27 pounds to 140 pounds. They have never been crated. We dread putting them on an airplane to the point that we are considering driving them from South Carolina to Matagalpa.
Ideas ? Suggestions ?
