Deciding best place to move

Hello there! I am asking for opinions on where to move. I visited San juan del sur awhile ago and loved it. The beaches around there were amazing but i did not have a chance to visit anywhere else. Sjds was alittle too congested for our liking. Looking for a more laidback area that is still close enough for a beer/coffee run and maybe 20-30 minutes from beaches and a walmart/grocery or hardware store. So thought i would ask for opinions on where to narrow down and look at more intensely. I am retired army and looking to buy and split time between here and the U.S for now. Thank you for your time. Anything and all information is appreciated
