travel to CR to renew tourist visa

hey All,
you know that i could do a search and maybe find the info im looking for.... But, you know, this board is all about interaction, and it is nice to be able to speak english for a change.
im am close to Boaco and need to head to CR dec 26 to Dec 30. tourist viza is up on the 27 and im looking to get a new 90 day stamp. last year, i did the magracion thing and they would only give me an extention of 30 days at a time.
I can get to Managua just fine but after that, i have never travelled past Granada and when i went to Granada, i used a taxi, lol.
no problem using the bus system here, just not sure which to catch and from where. any help and knowledge passed would be greatly appreciated. thanks
