I am wondering about the best towns to ride around on a bike. I currently live in Tirana and am fearful of riding a bike on the roads here. I live a bit far from the lake, so getting there would be risking my life every time! Are there towns that have good bike paths and roads that are biker friendly that would be suitable for a single expat.
I would also like to know about towns, other than Tirana, that have karaoke and possibly expat social groups. I know Durres and Vlore are mentioned a lot, but they also seem unbelievably crowded in the summers, and I am not a fan of that kind of atmosphere.
