xenofobia & bullying

Have been to the Bahamas a few times and spent time sailing through the islands.

I did notice a few times a xenophobic attitude toward foreigners, also heard the same from folks with ex-pat kids in school being picked on. Noticed some political fliers around also disparaging foreigners.

Considering moving to freeport, for part of the year, and putting my kids in school but worrying about bullying.

How bad is it?
