Looking at buying a dive shop

We are considering buying a dive shop locally and would like more information on logistics in purchasing and running a business there. Where is a good place to find out more about taxes and fees for purchasing and running a business there? How good is local support for boat repair and maintenance? Where is most convenient area to live? What is the government red tape like for buying and owning a business? Any other advice?
