Nannying

I want to move down to St. Lucia this summer. I've booked tickets for myself and my 5 year old to come down in July for 6 weeks holiday but am considering staying down and not returning this is dependant on if I get a job. I know it's hard to find work though! I currently work in childcare have been working in private nurseries for a little over 3 years. I have tried contacting schools but either don't get a response or haven't really gotten anywhere. Im wondering if nannying is something that is in demand in St. Lucia?
