realtors in st lucia

I've started contacting realtors to see houses when we go on vacation since I am interested in purchasing for retirement winter home. One realtor in particular will not show me houses from another realtor site. I did set up with them but did contact the other realtor as they have properties on my initial wish list but now that realtor wants to know who else I am working with. This is VERY uncomfortable for me - realtors in USA cooperate and will show other properties (I realize split commission occurs in this situation). anyone can enlighten me as to what's up with this request to know the other realtor? I do not want to cause local trouble...
